10mm 4 Pin Solderless Waterproof 5050 RGB LED Strip to Strip Connector

  • Waterproof-design Easy-Clasp Solderless Connectors, only work for 10mm wide WATERPROOF SMD 5050 RGB LED Strips that have 4 copper contacts at the cutting line.
  • These connectors are specially designed according to the structure of WATERPROOF RGB 5050 LED strip. So, these connectors CAN NOT work for NON-waterproof RGB 5050 LED strip.
  • No need to solder. Just clasp your prepared WATERPROOF LED strip section into the connector to get connected. But when installing, you need to carefully adjust the contact position to make sure the 4 pins in the connectors can totally penetrate the 4 copper contacts on the WATERPROOF LED strip to ensure good electrical conductivity.
  • Provide solderless, gapless and seamless connection for WATERPROOF SMD5050 RGB LED strips

Precautions:
The 4 pins in the connectors should totally penetrate the 4 copper contacts on the WATERPROOF LED strip to ensure good electrical conductivity.
So, when you cut your LED strip into 2 LED strips, you should cut very carefully along the cutting line, to make sure the area of the copper contacts on the 2 LED strips are the same (not a bigger area of copper contacts on one LED strip, and a smaller area on the other LED strip). If the area of the copper contacts on the LED strip is too small, then the 4 pins in the connectors can not totally penetrate the 4 copper contacts, and there will be poor electrical conductivity. As a result, you may get only 2 different colors or even no colors at all.

Installation Instructions:
1.Carefully cut off the WATERPROOF RGB 5050 LED strip along the cutting line, so that the area of the 4 copper contacts on each LED strip is the same.
2.Remove the tape on the backside of the LED strip around the area of the 4 copper contacts, to expose the 4 copper contacts.
3.Make sure to match the + electrode on the connector to the + electrode on the LED strip.
4.Adjust the contact points between the 4 pins in the connector and the 4 copper contacts on the LED strip, to make sure the 4 pins in the connector can totally penetrate the 4 copper contacts on the LED strip. Then use your finger to press a little hard on the LED strip so that the 4 pins in the connector can go through the 4 copper contacts on the LED strip and then go into the LED strip a little.
5.Close the LED strip in the connector, make sure the 4 pins in the connectors totally penetrate the 4 copper contacts on the LED strip.
